Greystone Ranch was born of our desire to return to a healthier lifestyle and simpler times. In 2004 we decided it was time to move away from our chaotic lives in the city and slow down our pace. We made the move from Kansas City to Peculiar, MO.

We hadn’t planned on moving 30 miles outside of town, but this is where we found what we were looking for. Our country home sits on five acres and includes a stocked pond, a barn for our Nubian and LaMancha dairy goats, along with our Nigerian Dwarfs, and a fenced-in yard for our dogs.

Our guard llama, Hot Rod Harry, is in charge of security and keeping all our goats safe from the occasional trepassing coyote. Our free-range chickens enjoy his guardianship, also!

We have seen a lot of changes in 2006. We've met a lot of great people, and sent many of our goat babies to new homes. We are looking forward to 2007 and another year of adventure with our young dairy herd.

We also look forward to breeding and raising quality German Shepherd Dogs in 2007. We are committed to maintaining high breeding standards and working for the betterment of this noble breed. We plan on breeding for long-haired and plush coats, as well as the standard coat German Shepherds. Please check out the 'Our Dogs' page for updates on our progress.
